The professional workshop aims to offer a sense of physical and sensory wholeness through the exploration and discovery of the body’s new possibilities. The practice invites participants to reconnect with an instinctive, embodied state — awakening an awareness of their artistic uniqueness and enabling them to express themselves in infinite ways, from expansive and powerful forms to the most subtle and delicate qualities. KOMOCO’s movement language delves into theatricality and expressiveness, blurring the boundaries between dance, theatre and performance. Performers are encouraged to embody narratives and emotions with a visceral presence, accessing a raw state where movement, sensation and emotion merge. Through a series of games and guided improvisation exercises, the work reveals vulnerability, tension, conflict and intimacy, offering tools to communicate complex inner worlds.
