Théâtre du Fil de l’eau

A fridge, carpeting, cowboys, monsters... and a story turned upside down. With six dancers and as many misappropriated objects, Marc Lacourt invites younger audiences and adults to take part in a joyful waltz where everything moves, falls and is invented. In this poetic bric-a-brac, bodies dance, fall, rise and form a new group. Inspired by the monsters that haunt our imaginations, Waltz with W... approaches difference as a richness, a playground, a space for building and deconstructing together. The story is composed of bits and pieces, in a joyful disorder, between comical imbalances, intentional impulses of gentleness and strangeness. Here, everything becomes a pretext for invention: an object that comes to life, a set that unravels, a fear that is tamed. Somewhere between art history and childhood, Marc Lacourt fashions a playful, sensitive ritual in which we learn to look differently at what baffles us. A choreographic journey brimming with images, mischief and freedom.
