This ballet class will include work at the barre and in the center, with various exercises, to warm up the whole body and play on intentional movement and musicality. We will consider the body as a whole and constantly connect our upper body with the lower body.
Coralie Levieux
Coralie Levieux entered the CNSMD in Paris at the age of 15, and followed the classical dance curriculum. After completing her training, she danced in several major works from the classical repertoire, including Swan Lake and Giselle, as well as pieces by contemporary choreographers such as Nacho Duato and Jo Stromgen during her four years with the Ballet du Rhin. In 2007, she joined the Ballet de l'Opéra de Lyon. The repertoire of this company offered her the opportunity to dance pieces by Jirì Kylian, William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Merce Cunningham, Trisha Brown, Pina Bausch, Maguy Marin, Anne Theresa De Keersmaeker, Jérôme Bel, Alessandro Sciaroni, and others.
