Canal Asia

25 & 26.11.25

Académie de Danse de Pékin

Canal, a professional platform created in 2020 by the National Dance Centre, will be held in Asia for the first time in 2025.
An event aimed at the choreographic community, Canal Asia will showcase French and Chinese creations, promote exchanges between professionals in the sector and strengthen collaborations between France and China and, more broadly, Asia.

For two days, the studios of the Beijing Dance Academy will be taken over by French and Chinese cultural institutions invited to present choreographers whose work they support.

A total of 16 choreographers – 8 French and 8 Chinese, as well as 2 choreographers presented by the BDA – will present their artistic projects to professionals (programmers, broadcasters, representatives of educational institutions, artists, etc.) from across Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, etc.).

Detailed program to come.
