The national collective agreement for artistic and cultural enterprises (CCNEAC), known as the ‘public sector’ agreement, which applies to subsidised performance companies, sets out the working conditions for choreographic artists. Employers' knowledge and detailed understanding of the provisions set out in this agreement has direct and tangible consequences for the organisation of the work of their teams, the drawing up of production budgets and the drafting of employment contracts. The same knowledge is essential for employees, so that they can master their rights and obligations arising from this text. This training course will help to secure relations and improve working conditions within companies by providing the tools needed to apply the regulations properly and work more efficiently.
Samuela Berdah and Raphaëlle Petitperrin are lawyers in charge of information for professionals at the Centre national de la danse. In particular, they are responsible for providing information to dancers, choreographers, company administrators and dance teachers on legal and administrative issues relating to their careers (employment law, social protection, copyright and neighbouring rights, contract law, association law, civil service law, etc.). All these years in contact with the choreographic sector have enabled them to develop expertise and knowledge of the field, which they are now able to share with their colleagues.
