Notation practitioners (Benesh, Conté, Laban) will explore strategies developed to transcribe movement elements such as dynamics, nuance, intensity, energy, expression, emotion and mental visualization. These reflections will be accompanied by an aesthetic and historical contextualization of Laban expressivity, and a comparative study of movement analysis with new technologies.
