A dance festival in Pantin: a day-long event to place dance at the heart of the city Canal de l’Ourcq, from CN D to the Place de la Pointe.
1 km de danse is a festive day out, bringing the people of Pantin together to dance! Along the Canal de l'Ourcq, stages are open to dance associations, conservatoires, artists and choreographers, and amateur groups, so that as many people as possible can dance together, and so that the cultures and traditions present in Pantin and the 93 region can come together. Be surprised by dance events in the public space or try out your first dance step: anything is possible on this day!
After a first edition in 2022 that drew nearly 7,000 people, and a second edition in 2023 that drew 10,000 people, this third year promises to leave its mark with a rich programme that will unite amateurs and professionals around the expression of their identity, shared otherness and the dancing gesture.
