The scenography as
dance partner

14 > 18.02.22

CN D Pantin

Nadia Lauro proposes to work on three fundamental aspects of her scenographic practice:

1. Scenography as a dance partner: presentation, discussion and pinpointing of the issues involved.

2. The viewed viewer: working from a project specific to each participant, translating the project “driver” into an ideal viewing device to generate a specific state of looking.

3. Making the material speak: a collective moment based on a shared practice and specific material, to move from gesture to object, to the collective, to the scripted and inhabited space.

Nadia Lauro, scenographer, develops her work in various contexts (scenic spaces, landscape architecture, museums). She designs scenographic devices, environments and visual installations. Her spaces with strong dramaturgical power generate new ways of seeing and being together. She collaborates with Vera Mantero, Benoît Lachambre, Emmanuelle Huynh, Fanny de Chaillé, Alain Buffard, Antonija Livingstone, Latifa Laâbissi, Jonathan Capdevielle, Antonia Baehr, Yasmine Hugonnet, Marion Siéfert, Jennifer Lacey.
