Meetings with notators

While dance may be transmitted orally or by recording, its analysis is enriched by notation. The Conté system provides a tailored response to this need and the experiments carried out have shown its effectiveness in dance as in other fields of application. This seminar looks back at the life, work and teaching of Pierre Conté (1891-1971), the creator of this system designed for functional and contemporary use.
