L’Atelier du lundi

For this workshop, Anne Martin is offering a warming-up phase based on breathing, rhythm and a vital elan, then research into dance-theatre based on each person’s different personality.

Anne Martin studied music at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and dance at the Rosella Hightower School in Cannes. After being taken on by Gigi Caciuleanu in 1977 at the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Nancy, she joined Pina Bausch in Wuppertal and became a soloist of the Tanztheater (1979-1991). She has participated in creations by Malou Airaudo, Michel Kelemenis and Raimund Hoghe. She has also choreographed for the theatre and the opera, in particular for Macha Makeïeff & Jérôme Deschamps, and George Lavaudant. She has taught at the CNSMD of Lyon since 2003.
