Creating new forms of knowledge, formats and perspectives on the crossroads between classical and contemporary dances, while exploring “idea-sources” within, and beyond, the work of William Forsythe.

Douglas Becker is a choreographer and pedagogue. A former dancer at the Joffrey Ballet New York, the National Ballet of Canada, the Dallas Ballet, as well as the Frankfort Ballet under the direction of William Forsythe, he has put on many of the choreographer’s pieces. He has been a guest teacher at P.A.R.T.S. since 1997, at the University of New York, the University of California and the Conservatoires Nationaux Supérieurs de Musique et Danse in Paris and Lyon.
