Led by dance artist and Russell Maliphant Dance Company member Grace Jabbari, this workshop is based on the heart of world-renowned choreographer Russell Maliphant’s creative process, merging techniques from classical and contemporary dance with principles from Bodywork and Martial arts. The workshop will draw from various avenues of creative exploration, allowing freedom of movement within a deeply rooted musical exploration.

Grace Jabbari was born in Reading and trained at Tring Park School for Performing Arts. She graduated with a first class BA from Rambert School and a first class MA from Northern School of Contemporary Dance. On graduating, Jabbari toured Dracula with Mark Bruce Company, and later played Calypso in the UK tour of The Odyssey. Jabbari works closely with choreographer Holly Blakey, starring in the original creations for Some Greater Class, ABIDE, and Cowpuncher. Other performance work includes: Vestige by Wayne Parsons Dance, live shows for artists Florence and The Machine, Damien Rice, Naeem fka Spank Rock. Jabbari has been working with Russell Maliphant since 2015, joining the company in 2016 for the international tour of Conceal|Reveal and Maliphant Works 2.
