Workshop

Based on his experiences of working with the famous British company DV8 Physical Theatre and other approaches to ‘physical theatre’, this workshop is being given by Ian Garside who, after classical theatre, trained at the Laban Centre in London and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. As an instructor, he feeds off the experiences and various approaches of the participants, while sharing his commitment and the DV8 group spirit initiated by Lloyd Newson in 1996: the desire for a rupture in contemporary dance and for work based on risk-taking of both an aesthetic and physical form.
