This book, a new version of a project launched 10 years ago with Distinguished Pieces, brings together in its first volume the visual material used by La Ribot throughout her creations: facsimiles of her workbooks, sketches and notes, and also drawings, photographs, texts, programmes and postcards that she used as references and sources of inspiration.
In the second volume Laurent Goumarre, Adrian Heathfield, André Lepecki, José A. Sánchez and Gerald Siegmund were invited to revive the Distinguished Pieces and provide a new interpretation. Photographs of each distinguished piece, most of them previously unreleased, document the artist’s work.
