Every season, the CN D creates unique projects that make it possible to discover the world of contemporary artistic creation. Linked to the CN D’s activities (heritage, architecture, performances, residencies, etc.), these projects are structured around the partner’s educational interests and aims.
The CN D receives masters in residency and territorial structures with the desire to create a dialogue between dance and other disciplines. Each project is constructed with a partner and an artist and is adapted to the theme under exploration: the relationships of body/space, body/object, walking, or else orality in writing. The sequences are punctuated by a multiplicity of formats: encounters with artists, encounters concerning professions, practice workshops, mediation, sequences with shows and visits to exhibitions. For three years, the CN D has also been inviting masters students in Dance and Literary Creation at the University of Paris-8– Saint-Denis to occupy its spaces. This regular presence will mean being able to cross their courses with the activities offered by the CN D and to create encounters between the students of these two cursi.
Higher Education / Master’s in Residency
For three years, the master’s in dance research and the master’s in literary creation at the University Paris-8 –Saint-Denis have become domiciled at the CN D. This regular presence means being able to cross their lessons with the entirety of the activities: associate artists, resources, shows, exhibitions.
Each season, the CN D develops projects associated with higher education with a will to create a dialogue between dance and other disciplines. Each project is constructed with a partner so as to answer as closely as possible to their needs. These projects are punctuated by various formats: encounters with artists, skillsets, practical workshops, mediation, going to shows and visits to exhibitions.
